He is survived by: his children, Jim Patterson and Kathleen Patterson Lopez (Al); his grandchildren, Shelby Lopez Kamisar (Ben) and Al Lopez IV; his great grandchild Evelyn; his fiancée Jeane Emery; his brother George Patterson of Aiken, SC; and his sisters-in-law, Dee Patterson of Brighton, MI and Rose Peters (David) of Williamstown, NJ. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
