Whitley; his grandchildren, Caitlin Cassady DeSantis (Robert), Kyle Cassady (Kelsey Stirling), Ethan Powell (Michelle), Garrett M. Powell and Meredith Powell Trull (Benjamin); and his brother Bruce W. Whitley (Linda). He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.
