He was predeceased by: his parents, Urlee Shack and Coretha P. Murray; his siblings, Sarah Sheppard of Nevada, Isaiah Murray, Sr. and Isaiah Murray, Jr.; and his grandmother Bertha Burney.
He is survived by: his close friend Lynnell Green; his children, Joel Wayne Shack, Jr., Nicole L. Wise (Reeche Wise), Tiffany Shack and Donte Shack; his grandchildren, Santasia Cooper, NaJaeh Wise, Ra'Zariyah Wise, Kingston Wise, Sir Shack, Zion Shack and Zoelle Williams; his siblings, Kevin Jones, Barbara Russell and Patricia Murray; his niece Naomi Murray; his nephews, James I. Murray, Corey Murray, Maurice Murray, Isaiah Murray III, David Vickers and Jeremy Lucas; his cousins, Frank Hough and Curtis Woodard (Chet); and also, Leondre, Keyshon, Der'Reona and Aa'Riyah.
