He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Frank C. Tempone and Madeline E. Tempone (Nee Procario); and his sister Ann Katherine. He is survived by: his wife Charla; his daughter Katherine Cowart; his son-in-law Brandon; his son Lieutenant Colonel John Tempone, Jr. (Ana); and his grandchildren, Vivienne, Madeline and James.
