He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Christopher; his daughter Consondra Christopher-Davis; his grandchildren, Najee Christopher, Chandon Davis, Samuel Christopher, Cameron Christopher, Camdyn Davis and Aaralyn Christopher; his siblings, Robert Raines and Cleesther Davis; his siblings-in-law, Annette Kendrick, William Gloster and John Gloster; his nieces and nephews, Tracy Chiverton, Lisa Raines, Wynette Raines, Sheila Raines, Michael Parker, Marshall Parker Jr., Thaddeus Raines, Steve Raines and Ronnie Fraizer; his cousins, Alice, Ursula and Rashad Raines; Willie Davis and Tony Christopher. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

John's contributions to his church were quiet but unwavering.
