With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Proeschel of Tampa, Florida, born in Willmar, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 12, 2024 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Proeschel and Margaret Proeschel; and his wife Connie Lohn. He is survived by: his children, Steve (Barbara) of St. Paul, MN, Mary Marrs (Robert) of Tampa, FL and Tom (Betsy) of Valrico, FL; his grandchildren, Kim, Brittany, Matthew, Caroline, William, Wendy and Jake; his great grandchild Austin; and his close friend Janet Donahue. He is also survived by his family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Messiah Lutheran Church.
