He is survived by: his children, Natasha Mitchell, LaVette Shunta Berrian (Harris) and Jay Douglas Mitchell; his grandchildren, Domenique-Alexis Giavanni Berrian, Jalen Anthony Mitchell (Erin), Q'Ristien-Keana Rachelle Berrian, DeVan-Divante Scot Berrian (Brianna) and Janae Renee Mitchell; his great grandchild Legend Truu Charles Booth; his siblings, George Harris (Emma), Hattie Mae Smith, Robert Harris, Otis Harris (Deborah), Savannah Jones and Addie Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Mamie Harris and Solomon Perry. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandson.
