With sadness, we share the passing of Kenneth Porterfield of Tampa, Florida. Kenneth, born on December 2, 1938, passed away on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Porterfield and Edythe Violet Porterfield; his daughter Patricia Porterfield; and his siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Gorman, Shirley Cumberland, Lois Howard, Robert Porterfield, Otis "Corky" Porterfield and Donald "Donnie" Porterfield.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Porterfield of San Antonio, Florida; his daughters, Brenda Vaughn (David) of San Antonio and Sandi Hall (Alan) of Napoleon, Missouri; his granddaughters, Amanda Vaughn of San Antonio, Allison Vaughn of San Antonio, Ashley Miller (Andrew) of Richmond and Shannon Barnhart (Lake) of Sibley, Missouri; his great grandchildren, Levi Miller, Ivin Miller, Trace Miller, Lawson Barnhart, Wesley Barnhart and Lilly; and his brothers, Duane Porterfield (Joyce) of Independence, Missouri and Larry Porterfield (Marilyn) of Independence, Missouri. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM, on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 6:00 PM and on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM.
