He was predeceased by: his parents, John Martin and Ellenor Navaro Schmeisser. He is survived by: his wife Catherine; his son Daniel Karl Schmeisser (Sharon Denninger); and his stepsons, John M. Allen (Robin D. Allen) and Jason F. Allen (Lisa N. Allen). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, extended family and friends.
