We are sad to announce that, on December 2, 2024, at the age of 91, Octavio Valdez of Tampa, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Valdez; his wife Shirley Augusta Valdez; and his siblings, Joe Alpizar, Lucy Arroyo, Norma Jacobs, Antonia "Colie" Martinez, Isabel Salas, Grace Shanahan, Rose Spano, Evelio "Jimmy" Valdez and Mary Venta.
He is survived by: his sister Ofelia "Lita" Posada; his sons, Angelo Valdez and Johnny Valdez; his grandson Joshua Valdez (Stacy); and his great grandchildren, Dominic Octavio Valdez and Briella Marie Valdez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, and great-grandnieces and great-nephews, and many friends.
