He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elizabeth Cook and John Robert O'Dea; his children, Tracy Elizabeth Saunders Aguilar and Robert Kent Saunders; his wife Leslie Saunders; his granddaughter Tesa Aguilar; his stepson Craig Scurato; his daughter-in-law Joanne Rauth Scurato; his grandchildren, Aiden Scurato and Liddy Scurato; his sibling's children, Franklin P. Fries and Melissa Frisinger; and his cousin Edward Pendarvis of South Carolina.
