He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Warmack; his parents, Eunice Pruett (late Roy Pruett) and Robert Warmack; his grandson Robby Cartwright; and his stepsister Carole James (Warren James).

He is survived by: the mother of his children Jane Boatright (Reid); his brother Larry Warmack; his daughters, Phylicia Cartwright, Elizabeth Gottas and Renee Warmack (Sandra Eveleth); his grandsons, Larry Cartwright (Shannon Cartwright) and Jeffrey Gottas; and his stepsister Mary Richards (Steve Richards).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Lifepath Hospice.
