She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul H. Schaeffer Sr. and Sylvia L Miller Schaeffer; and her brother Paul H. Schaeffer Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Robert Gaskins; her children, Robert Gaskins (Julie) and Christina Hopskins (Jordan); her grandchildren, Emma Gaskins, Kate Gaskins and Braden Hopkins; and her brother Johnny R Schaeffer. She is also survived by her family and her many friends.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers to please make contributions to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation a cause she was dedicated to and loved participating in for more than 10 years.
