Peter Charles Antoniou Obituary

PETER C. ANTONIOU Peter C. Antoniou, 53, of Tampa, Florida, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023. Loving and devoted father of two sons, Dino and Christopher; and one daughter, Caitlin, whom he shared with his former wife, Stephanie Swiniarski Antoniou; beloved brother of Paul Antoniou, Eleni Antoniou, and Christina Sardelis (Thomas, Jr.); and dear son of the late Constantinos and Athena Antoniou.

Peter was a proud father with deep faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and fond love for his family. Born in 1969 in Titusville, Florida, he was a Finance graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi where he played college football before transitioning to professional football with the Arena League North Carolina Charlotte Rage. He then pursued a master's degree in fine arts at Louisiana State University and pursued an acting career. He landed multiple parts in a number of television shows such as Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Beverly Hills 90210, Saved By The Bell: New Class, Bold & The Beautiful, Young & The Restless, JAG, Providence, ThunderDome, and Air America.

Peter was a committed Greek Orthodox Christian whose faith and love for our Lord Jesus Christ was first in his heart. As a young boy, he attended Saint Katherine's Greek Orthodox Church in Melbourne, FL where he served in the altar and participated in community faith and fellowship activities. May his memory be eternal.

The Memorial/Trisagion service will be offered immediately following the Divine Liturgy on Friday, November 3, 2023, at 10 a. at Saint John's Greek Orthodox Church, 2418 Swann Ave, Tampa, Florida.
