Reese Whitley Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Reese Whitley (Tampa, Florida), who passed away on September 27, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Garnet Whitley and Julia Wallace Whitley; his wife Bonnie Day Whitley; his son Joseph Glen Whitley; and his grandparents, A. A. and Irene.
He is survived by: his children, Joey, Reinor Jay Whitley (Tricia) and Jennifer Whitley McCarthy (Rob); his grandsons, Robbie Reese McCarthy and Jackson Day McCarthy; and his sister Brenda Whitley Klassen.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bedford Baptist Church.
