He was predeceased by: his parents, Phu Nguyen and Huy Pham; his sisters, Manh, Diep and Hue Nguyen; and his son Vinh-Xuan Nguyen.
He is survived by: his wife Phung Nguyen; his sisters, Hung, Tho and Kim Nguyen; his children, Rachel Nguyen (Phong), Vinh-Thanh Nguyen (Phuoc Tran), Cindy Nguyen (Anh Phan), Thao-Ngoc Nguyen (Khanh Vinh), Vinh-Nghia Nguyen (Thu-Ha Le), Vinh-Hoa Nguyen (Hoa Ma) and Jenny Nguyen (Trung Vo); his grandchildren, Thi (Ha), Sofie (Justin), Duyen, Bryan, Julie, Katie, Khang, Khue, Vincent, Stephanie, Kevin, William and Quinn; and his great grandchildren, Brianna, Brendan and Benjamin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
