He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ruth Benjamin; his children, Roger Blethen, Jr. (Sandra) and Dena Vaughn (John); and his brother Floyd Blethen. He is also survived by five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a large extended family.
