She was predeceased by: her parents, Rafael Rivera and Maria Cruz Rivera; and her siblings, Wilfredo Rivera, Rilen Galarza and Oscar Rivera (Jimmy).
She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Velez of Bronx, NY; her sister Aida Mercado; her children, David (Bettina) and Gina (Matthew); her grandchildren, David Jr., Marisa (Erick), Rebecca (Michael), Veronica (Kevin), Kelly and Nico; and her great grandchildren, Nathan, Victoria and Declan.
