He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Henry and Betty Jean Jones; his brother Benjamin Jones Jr.; his aunt Yolanda Gadis; his uncles, Richard Dean Gadis, Rufus "Toby" Gadis, Gregory Reche Gadis and Anthony Gadis; and his nephew Talmadge Jones.

He is survived by: his sister Karen Simmons; his nephews, Vincent Simmons Jr. (Trineshia), Travis Simmons (Bryanna) and Christian Davis; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Vincent III, Vinecia, Samaia, Jeremiah, Destyni, Islah, Zyion, Rock Lee and Jiraiya; his aunts, Tommie Lee Anderson, Emma Dean Brown, Cassandra Grandville (William) and Elaine Everhart; his uncle Delano Gadis Sr.; and his close friends, Jackie Williams and Lisa Nelson.
