She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Saunders and Effie Chase Saunders; her husbands, Walter Bruse and Chester Walag; her son Walter "Butchie"; her daughter-in-law Sandra "Sandy" Bruse; and her siblings, Joseph, Raymond Ladd, Roland Saunders, Mary "Mae" Dingman, Sarah "Sadie" Nuhfer and Glenyce Worbel.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Bruse, Terry Bruse (Sally) and Randy Walag (Christina); her grandchildren, Thomas, Jamie and Amanda Bruse; and her great grandchildren, Makayla and Alexis French. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
