He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ivey Emory and Lura Landis Falkenburg; his brothers, Ronald Ivey and John Paul Emory; and his stepsister Geraldine Emory Day.
He is survived by: his daughter Heather Hill (Robert); and his grandchildren, Samantha Hill (Brandon Maiorino) and Robert Hill.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI.org (http://nami.org)), a grassroots organization promoting support, education, and promotion of mental health awareness.
