He is survived by: his children, Matthew Thompson Murray (Arielle) of Tampa, Alyssa Kathryn Murray (Ty Cary) of Clarksville, TN, Andrew Patrick Murray of Nashville and Abigail Murray Smith (Parker) of Lakeland; his grandsons, Colter Smith and Brooks Murray; his fiancée Valerie Jackson of St. Petersburg; and his sister Julie Rayburn Richards (John) of Roswell, GA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the First Pres Tampa (3302 W Horatio St, Tampa, FL 33609). A reception will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
