It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Violeta Alfonso of Tampa, Florida, who passed away on April 18, 2026, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Disgdiertt and Maria Disgdiertt; her daughter Lisa Alfonso; and her siblings, Oscar "Papito" Disgdiertt, Dalia Rocha and Elvia Thorne.
She is survived by: her significant other Mike Alfonso III; her children, Susie Rodriguez (Jorge), Rick Alfonso (Nancy) and Tommy Alfonso (Beth); and her grandchildren, Derrick Alfonso, Rina Alfonso, Kirstin Alfonso and Nicholas Cordero. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
