Though Walter may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Walter touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his sons, Jeff O'Brien and Kevin O'Brien; and his brother Richard O'Brien. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; and his daughter Kristin Witt. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. James Methodist Church (16202 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Tampa, FL 33647). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
