He is survived by: his son Wayne Whisler, Jr. (Ashley) of Virginia; his stepson Kyle Peel (Kelsey) of Colorado; his grandchildren, Trinity Whisler and Austin Skelly; his parents, Esther Stacy and Richard Whisler; and his siblings, Kathy Muckey (Ted), Linda Lacy (Jim) and Doug Whisler (Beth). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
