It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carmela Barry Miceli of Tarpon Springs, Florida, born in East Orange, New Jersey, who passed away on June 7, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Belfiore and Madeline Belfiore (Goglia); her husband Dominick L. Miceli; and her brother Joseph Belfiore Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Louis R. Miceli (Amy), Gina R. Howe (David), Joseph A. Miceli (Marilynn) and Madeline J. Roepcke (Dwight); her grandchildren, Katherine M. Miceli (Ryan Devens), Elizabeth A. Miceli (Keith Boughrum), John A. Howe, Michael T. Howe (Kally), Lauren A. Garton (Jeremy), Deanna J. Longjohn (Nathaniel) and Mikayla R. Roepcke; and her great grandchildren, Xavier Theo, Emilia Lenore and Logan Joseph.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Gosselin Funeral Home (660 New Dover Rd, Edison, NJ 08820). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Helena RC Church (950 Grove Ave, Edison, NJ 08820). An entombment will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the St Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause close to Carmela's heart.
