With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George M. Galanos of Tarpon Springs, Florida, who passed away on July 8, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George M. Galanos to pay them a last tribute.

In the vast expanse of eternity, George shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid George farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He is survived by: his wife Irene Galanos; his sister Kaliope Dris; his children, Milton and Evangeline; his grandchildren, Kaitlin, Alexia, Nicholas George and Irene; and his great grandchildren, Michael, Nicolette and Adon.

Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral (36 N Pinellas Ave, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
