He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma Jane Clause; his son Clyde Lee Clause Jr.; and his sister Hazel Moses. He is survived by: his daughters, Cheryl Barnes (Tim) and Zana Raybon (Nolan); his daughter-in-law Lynn (Clyde Jr.); his sister Jean Poe; and his grandchildren, Christa Hedberg (Scott), Connie Hoover (Scott), Jordan Mitchell (Brian), Ryan Barnes (Brett Dady), Rachel Conliffe, Matt Barnes (Jessica), Stephen Conliffe, Jesse Conliffe (M'Lynn) and Austin Kennedy.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his honor to Cornerstone Hospice, Tavares.
