He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Laura Pruitt and Joseph Hurt, Sr.; and his sister Deborah Parham. He is survived by: his daughters, Robin Lyttle, Carolyn Lyttle and Shelia Lyttle; his grandson Levi Haley; and his siblings, Donald Hurt, Joe Hurt, Barbara Diceglie and Vannessa Graham. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
