He was predeceased by: his siblings, Acy Burke, Frona Shelton, Nona Smith, Norella Dean Burke, Shirley Johnson, Delmar Burke, Jr. and Anthony Burke; and his parents, P. Delmar Burke and Edna M. Burke.
He is survived by: his wife Emma Burke (Coleman); his children, Michael (Brenda), Timothy (Sue), Pamela (Tom) and Brian (Alison); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Isabelle, Dane and Johnny; and his sisters, Judy O'Neal (Skeeter) and Jean Carol Bredin (Woody). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
