With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Ann Gatton Heck of Temple Terrace, Florida, who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Gatton and Norene Gatton; and her grandchildren, Danielle Leedy and Benjamin Taylor. She is survived by: her husband James B. Heck; her brother David Gatton (Judith) of Huntsville; her children, Janice Taylor (Ross) of Austin, Judith Lowry (Stephen) of Temple Terrace and Jeffrey Heck (Donna) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Pamela Taylor (Brad Bingham) of Austin, Emily Taylor of Austin, Joshua Leedy (Kimberly) of Ontario, Sara Bennett (Rusty) of Grove City, Amanda Brickner (Sean) of Charlotte, Dennette Santamaria (Erik) of Columbus and Alexandra Leedy (Rudy Alexeeff) of Redondo Beach; and her granddaughter-in-law Deidra Sibila of Austin. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, many beloved nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, cherished friends and, especially, her amazing caregivers.
