Helene G. Schaefer Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 7, 2025, at the age of 87, Helene G. Schaefer of Tequesta, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Helene has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bella Gorenstein (Rich) and Harry Gorenstein; her husband Robert F. Schaefer; her sons, Jonathan B. Kates (Danniel) of California and Peter A. Kates (Ilze) of Norway; and her grandchildren, Ryan, Rebecca, Riley and Maxwell.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stanetsky Memorial Chapel (475 Washington St, Canton, MA 02021).
