He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose Symicek (Pierzina) and Joseph Symicek; and his brothers, Marcel and Clarence. He is survived by: his wife Jan (Sonsalla); his children, Greg (Paula) and Kristin Thayer; his grandchildren, Aaron Seehusen (Anne), Adrianna Symicek and Ian Thayer; and his great grandchildren, Gordon and Owen Seehusen.
