She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin "George" Flippen and Esther Flippen; her brother George "Steve" Flippen; her son Jason Richardson; and her pets, Winnie, Cleo and Lexi.
She is survived by: her husband Tom Richardson; her children, Raymond Ralls (Jennifer), Laura Irizarry (Michael) and Kristi Bump (Michael); her grandchildren, Jacob Doon-Ralls, Maddox Ralls, Jackson Ralls, Anthony Irizarry, Jonathin Irizarry, Kloe Bump, Ashton Bump, Kyler Richardson (Tiasha) and Brennen Fillan; her siblings, Terry Richardson (James) and Jim Flippen (Jolene); her sister-in-law Kathy Flippen; and her friend Judy Fields. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Cheryl's honor to Hillsborough County Pet Resources Foundation Inc - HCPRF General Support.
