Christoper Colon Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 22, 2025, Christoper Colon of Thonotosassa, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jenny Balbas, Carmen Navarro and Thomas Colón; his daughter Iris V. Feal; and his parents, Puerto Rican and Tomás Colón (Helen Laureano).
He is survived by: his children, Lizette Espel (Luis), Christopher P. Colón Jr. (Amanda), Helen Colón, Thomas Colón (Katie), Angelica Donish (Bill) and Cristina Michaelis (David). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Et Sunset Funeral Home (11005 US-301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Et Sunset Memory Gardens (11005 US-301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592). A reception was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Et Sunset Funeral Home (11005 US-301, Thonotosassa, FL 33592).
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the USF Health Byrd Alzheimer's Institute, which he was so fond of and were helpful throughout his care.
