He was predeceased by: his parents, James Redden Ethridge (Annie) and Annie Maude (Stewart); and his sister Patsy (Otis). He is survived by: his significant other Patricia; his children, Marcedes Hofman, Terri Butman (Steve) and Arnold Cater (Jenny); his grandsons, James Stone (Janet) and Raymond Etheridge; his great grandchildren, Kirsten, Grant, Jasper, Rachel, Lizzy and Anya; his brother Charles (Linda); his sibling's children, Daphne Bulluck (Keith) and James Bulluck (Crystal); and his siblings-in-law, Michael Scalise (Mimi), Nanci Nipper and Mickey Combs. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project and the Paralyzed American Veterans.
