He is survived by: his parents, Francis R. Peñón and Sonia Medina (Peñón); his siblings, Mia, Elijah, Sonae, Dominic, Isabella and Gabriela; and his grandmother Wela. He is also survived by Great‑Grandmother; and many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made in loving memory of Khali.
