He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Geis and Myrtle Geis; his wife Janet Geis; his sons, Mark Banks and Terry Banks; and his siblings, Gayetta Paskan, Barbara "Barbie" Grames, Linda Forrest, Harold Geis Jr. and Jack Geis.
He is survived by: his children, David Banks, Lynette Alleva (Gino) and Donna Geis; his daughter-in-law Trish Banks; his grandchildren, Amanda Garcia, Kellie Garcia, Elizabeth Garcia, Jose Villegas, Cassandra Villegas, Alex Banks, Mitchell Banks, Amber Jakcsy and Hannah Jakcsy; and his pet Pepper. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
