He was predeceased by: his parents, Furman Luther and Faye Price Roark; his siblings, Janice Mahala (Dewey) and Darrell Roark (Ola); and his stepdaughter Carol.
He is survived by: his wife Jewel Gouge Roark; his children, Bertha Roark Hatchett, Jerry and Richard; his brothers, J. E. Roark (Juanita) and Jerold Roark (Joyce); his grandchildren, Joseph Hatchett, Catelyn Czichas, Danielle Guy and Faith Hatchett; and his great grandchildren, Kori Lawson, Hayden Lawson, Casey Czichas and Clayton Czichas. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rock Creek Baptist Church (224 S Church St, Mountain City, TN 37683). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
