He was predeceased by: his parents, George Raymond Keyes Sr. and Minnie Lee McKnight Keyes; his wife Virginia Belle Kinder Keyes; his daughter Kista Kaye Pack; and his siblings, Eva Lucille, Ralph David, Louise, Myrtle Mae, George Jr., Harry Hildreth, Fred Jessie and Austin Kelly.

He is survived by: his children, Robin Walden "Jackie", Gregory Keyes Sr. "Barbara", Brian Keyes "Holly" and Mark Keyes "Melissa"; and his grandchildren, Barbara Underwood "Aaron", Dwayne Kennedy "Sandy", Danielle Walden, Brandy Walden, Jackalin Hodkinson, Rachel Hutcheson'Wade", Gregory Keyes Jr., April Keyes Jones, Kristie Keyes Titler, Casey Keyes, Courtney Keyes Nobili "Dom", Dixie Keyes Stepp "Ryan", Jacob Keyes "Maddy", Amanda Dean Moniz "Jeffrey", Steven Keyes "Jean", David Keyes, Kevin Semonski, Trent Keyes, Carrissa Lynn and Brad Ellis. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
