He is survived by: his wife Linda Dougherty Cheney; his daughter Anna Cheney Heiney (Daniel); his grandchildren, Zoey Heiney and Ian Heiney of Titusville; and his sister Patricia Britt (Walter). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
