Simon Preston Saunders Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Simon Preston Saunders in Titusville, Florida, born in Myrnam, Alberta, who passed away on October 19, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Simon shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Simon farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Saunders and Miriam Saunders; and his sisters, Joanne Gillespie and Alice Libich. He is survived by: his wife Carol Saunders; his children, Chad Saunders (Melinda), Linda Vendette (Tim), Pam Jennings (Terrel) and Theresa Moe (Jeff); and his brothers, Bill Saunders (Donna) and Russ Irving.

A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church (203 Ojibway Ave UNIT 203, Titusville, FL 32780). A burial will be held on Monday, October 27th 2025 at the Oak Lawn Cemetery.
