She is survived by: her brother Jack McDonald of Traverse City, Michigan; and her children, Timothy J. Nelson (Coral) of Orlando, FL, Tracy L. Braddy (Patrick) of Grand Island, FL, Lisa J. Nelson of Umatilla, FL and Matthew D. Nelson of Tampa, FL.. She is also survived by grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and many dear friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Umatilla (550 Hatfield Dr, Umatilla, FL 32784). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
