He was predeceased by: his parents, Cliff Collins and Ollie Collins; and his brother Russell Collins. He is survived by: his daughter Leslie Oakes; his grandchildren, Doug Collins, Brent Oakes (Angie) and Alise Neis (Phil); his great grandchildren, Paul Neis, Ella and Lyle Oakes; and his sister Jean Gastfield. He is also survived by 5 nieces and 4 nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Umatilla Historical Society: 299 N Trowell Ave, Umatilla.
