With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Luverne Williams of Valparaiso, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 10, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Jonas and Banion Vanlandingham Whitaker; her husband James Devane Williams; her son Hugh Brian Williams; and her siblings, Curtis, Charlie, Herbert, Robert, Lavada, Hiram, Hoyt, Frank, Floyd and Mattie Lou.
She is survived by: her children, Carl Williams (Joan) of Florida, Stanley (Shirley) of North Carolina, Dennis Williams (Linda) of Florida and Anita Townsend (Dennis) of Florida; her grandchildren, Keith Williams (Ashley), Curtis Williams, Amy Jackson (Colby), Chad Williams (Roxanne), JaeDe Williams (Michelle), Amber Prickett (Stephen), Clinton Townsend (Anna) and Malori Townsend; and her great grandchildren, Noah, Anna, Avery, Will, Reid, Kennedy, Reddeck, Everette, Merideth, Jacob, Ander and Teddy.
