He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Blake and Annette Blake; his children, William Blake (Bill) and Michelle Janis; and his siblings, Frank Shinaberry, Ralph, Caroll, Summers, Mabel Boyce, Jessie Graver, Ruth Kilgore and Nancy Roark.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Blake (Scotten); his son Robert R. Blake, Jr. of Valparaiso, Florida.; his grandson Robert R. Blake II; and also Virginia Wolfe of Whiteford, Maryland.. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Hope Baptist Church (108 Aurora St, Valparaiso, FL 32580). A burial will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at the Sunset Cemetery (211 Sunset Ln, Valparaiso, FL 32580).
