He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilio Rivera and Carmen Delia Ramírez. He is survived by: his children, Emely Rivera, Paul Gregory, Anette Rivera, Elizabeth Failey, Emilio Rivera Jr. and Sharlyne Rivera; and his great grandchild Amarlo Knowles. He is also survived by Papa leaves behind ten beautiful grandchildren.
