She was predeceased by: her parents, Chancellor Brown and Gladys Brown; and her sister Marie Horstmeier (Garland McHenry). She is survived by: her friend Don Rackley; her children, Brenda Clarke Scott (Pat) and Shawn McHenry; her adoptive daughter Tina Watts; her grandchildren, Phylicia Burdgess (Derrick), Cameron Clarke (Bea), Brandon Clarke (Tabitha Phillips), Isaiah Skinner and Josiah Altemus; and her great grandchildren, Derian Burdgess, Alex Burdgess, Trinity Clarke, Rajendra Permaul, Reanna Permaul, Kayden Clarke, Alea Clarke, Trinnity Phillips, Ariella Davis and Zion Kemp.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home (2323 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
