He was predeceased by: his parents, James Vincent and Kate Cairo; his former wife Patricia A. Cairo; and his siblings, James A. Cairo and Carmella Cairo.
He is survived by: his wife Kitty Horne-Cairo; his children, Sue Kiesewetter (John), Patty Novak, Karen Taylor (Scott), Anthony Jr. Cairo (Jean) and Michael Cairo (Patrice); his grandchildren, Jay (Lisa), Joseph, David Kiesewetter, Paul (Carlie), Laura Novak (Andrew Thompson), Anthony III (Samantha), Patrick (Stephanie), Melissa, Michael Jr., Matthew (Erika) and Nicholas Cairo (Dani Young); his great grandchildren, Ethan, Evan and Elliana Kiesewetter; his grandchildren, Anthony IV, Jacob, Ryan, Zachary, Jordan and Avery Cairo; and his sister-in-law Gail Earley. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Farley Funeral Homes and Crematory - Venice (265 Nokomis Ave S, Venice, FL 34285).
