She was predeceased by: her parents, William G. Miller and Gertrude Miller Wright (Hubbard); her husband Harold Bowers; her son Arnold John Smith; and her siblings, Lois Leonard and G. L. Dean.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Mary Miller (Floyd), Lena Smith (Sammy), Peggy Jane Smith, Virgie Asher (Reed), Ruby Cate (John), Viola Brooks (Joe), Lois Estes Bowman (Earl) and Lloyd Smith (Clara); her children, Debra L. Stoner of Houston and Calvin G. Smith of Dallas; her sister Mollie Hamilton of Somerset; her granddaughters, Rachel Markee of Texas and Jennifer Smith of Texas; and her great grandchild Elizabeth Markee of Texas. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
